Data Disclosure Agreement
Last updated 6 October 2026
A Voushify profile exists to be read by other people. This agreement says what your profile discloses about you, who can see it, and what those people may do with it. You accept it, together with our Terms and our Privacy Policy, when you create an account.
1. What your profile discloses
Depending on what you fill in and what your settings allow, your profile can show:
- your name, your public handle, your headline, your location, your website and your bio;
- your skills, your experience, your education and your achievements;
- the Voushes written about you, each to the audience set when it was requested;
- summaries built from those Voushes, such as how many you have and how they break down by relationship and by skill, and on a paid plan your Voush Score;
- how many connections you have, if you choose to show it.
You control the optional parts in Privacy & Visibility. Turning a section off there hides it from everyone but you.
2. Who can see it
Only signed-in Voushify users can view a profile; there is no anonymous browsing. Whether anyone other than you can see yours depends on your plan and your settings, and each Voush follows its own audience. The "Who can see your Voushes" section of our Privacy Policy sets out exactly how, including why a free (Basic) account is visible to nobody else.
3. What viewers may do with it
People who are allowed to see your profile can read what it shows, rely on it, and use it in their own decisions, for example when deciding whether to work with you. Voushify is decision support, not a hiring authority: we do not make those decisions and we do not control what a viewer does with what they have read.
We are not liable for how a viewer uses information they were allowed to see, to the extent the law permits. The Disclaimers and Limitation of liability sections of our Terms apply.
4. What you add yourself
Anything you put on your profile, you are choosing to disclose to the people who can see it. Do not add anyone else's personal details, and think before adding sensitive details of your own, such as health information, that have no place in a professional record.
5. When you write a Voush
A Voush you write about someone else is covered separately, when you submit it: you confirm that what you write can be read and used by the people allowed to see it, and that you have not included anyone's private details. See the "Writing a Voush" section of our Terms.
6. Changes to this agreement
If we change what this agreement says, we will ask you to accept the new version before you continue using your account.
